I believe that reading is good for the soul, offering a tranquil escape and a moment of solace amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
No books, no me. Books of all kinds have been with me for as long as I can remember. While it used to be mainly children’s books, then young adult and fantasy books, today it’s primarily new adult and romance novels.
For most of the day, my head is a whirlwind of chaos — like the Windows 97 screensaver on steroids — and reading brings me peace.
So far, I’ve shared my opinions on books with my husband, my friends, and on Goodreads. Now, I’m taking the next step and sharing my book reviews on this blog: Aenni Turns a Page — your destination for page-turning romance reads.
I mainly read in English, but if you follow me on Goodreads, you’ll always find German books in between. That’s no coincidence; I was born and raised in Germany. Since the beginning of 2024, I’ve been living in Minnesota with my husband.
When I’m not reading, you’ll find me doing sports or hanging out with friends — but don’t be fooled: I’m sure to have my eBook reader or a book with me!
